A topical numbing product may be used where appropriate to help make the treatment as comfortable as possible.Your comfort is important, and we will check in with you throughout the appointment.

What if I am using Roaccutane or isotretinoin?

Cosmetic tattooing may not be appropriate while taking isotretinoin (Roaccutane) and for a period after finishing treatment because it can significantly affect the skin.Please advise us if you currently take or have recently taken isotretinoin so we can discuss the appropriate timeframe before treatment.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Come with clean skin around the treatment area and avoid applying makeup directly over the area being tattooed.If you regularly wear brow makeup, you are welcome to bring reference photos of your preferred brow style or show us examples of the look you like.Ultimately, your shape and colour will be customised to suit your features and the desired healed result.

Can I choose the shape of my brows?

Absolutely — your preferences are an important part of the consultation.However, cosmetic tattooing is a customised treatment, so we will also consider your natural brow structure, facial proportions, existing hair and the way the brows will look once healed.We will map and discuss the shape with you before tattooing begins.

Will my cosmetic tattoo look very dark at first?

It can.Freshly tattooed pigment often appears significantly stronger immediately after the appointment. As the skin heals, the colour generally softens and becomes more natural.The healed result should always be judged after the skin has had time to properly recover.
